Hello 1st graders,

I hope you are having a fantastic week and are getting outside in the sun!

 

This week in art you are going to be learning about color and the color wheel.

 You will watch two short videos about color and the color wheel and then you will make some very cool and colorful art from thing you have around your home.

 So let's get going...

 Let's go over it one more time...

The PRIMARY colors are RED, YELLOW AND BLUE

The SECONDARY colors are GREEN, ORANGE AND PURPLE 

When you put them in order you get the color wheel or a rainbow: RED, ORANGE, YELLOW, GREEN, BLUE, PURPLE

 

 

Your job this week is to go around your home and find things that are either a primary color or a secondary color and make your own color wheel...
