Meet Head Librarian, Stephanie

Hello!

Having graduated from Bridgewater State University with a
Library Media Specialist's certificate, I started my career as the West Tisbury School Librarian in 1999.

Prior to that, I had held various positions around the island in almost all of the schools.
I taught 9th and 10th grade Social Studies, was an assistant in Edgartown, time shared a job in the
old Oak Bluff's school, and eventually landed in West Tisbury.
The school library is truly my sanctuary, and I am delighted to bring reading and literature in a variety of formats to our students.
When I'm not in school, you'll often see me on my horse, Teddy, blazing the trails which criss cross our island.

I look forward to discovering new books and visiting old favorites throughout our year together!
